On February 13th, Open People Network had our 4th #PitchItYork event at the Seneca Markham Campus. 40+ attendees joined us and watched 3 great startups presenting their businesses. Our advisors; Angelo Del Duca and Irene de Gooyer-Collins shared fantastic expertise and feedback to the startups.
Presenters of the night;
Monkey Jabber, GPS walkie-talkie tracking smartwatch for kids… A child safety device that gives you the peace of mind to knowing exactly where your child is when they go missing.
Hubbli, an all-in-one parent communication system.
FetchIt, platform that aims to solve your delivery and moving problems by connecting you with a local pickup, van, or truck owner.
Also, for anyone who was interested to learn more about financing and growing your business that Francis talked about, go to BDC and what Lucas shared about supporting entrepreneurs, check Y2 Entrepreneurship Labs and StartUP YORK.
